
Marvin “Ted” Keaton III

Ted Keaton earned a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2008. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Liberty University in 1993. A professional counselor since 2008, Ted holds the following professional credentials: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS #7790S), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS 23799, CCS 21519/Intern), National Certified Counselor, and certification for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT). He also has extensive training with telehealth services.
Mr. Keaton provides individual counseling for adults, adolescents and children. He also is skilled in family, couples and marital counseling. His therapeutic approach is person centered and strengths based. He focuses on specific ways in which Cognitive Behavior Therapy strategies can be applied to everyday issues. Ted is a native of Guilford County, where he also restores antique furniture. He considers his wife and two children as his greatest achievement.
Mr. Keaton works with ages 5 years of age and up.
